My career in mortgage finance has covered 23 years. In that time I have worked in just about all facets of the business. I have worked with Realtors, builders, sellers, and buyers on the origination (front-end) side of the business. I have also processed (verified loan application information) mortgage applications and approved them. Loan closings, fundings, warehouse line management, and secondary market sales? Done it. Post closing clean-up. Yep.

Over the years I have spent thousands of hours speaking to appraisers, underwriters, lawyers, buyers, sellers, Realtors, and builders about mortgage finance and real estate. This is fun for me. I enjoy it and I am passionate about it. I believe that without a healthy real estate market, nobody wins. The system must work for all parties and still work 10 years after closing. This is where the 2002-2007 real estate industry got it wrong. Nobody was looking out 10 years down the line.

I started the Mike Stoffer Show because I realized that nobody was looking out for the consumer. There are real estate radio programs in circulation, but they usually are nothing more than infomercials. This show is different. I am different. I want the consumer to win. To feel confident. I am selling nothing.

I am for capitalism as long as everybody wins. And I believe that there is a system where everybody can win. This is my belief and this is the intent of the program; to bring fresh ideas for everyone to consider.

Karaoke Bob

Karaoke Bob when not working at the studio is the mind-bending guitar player for Johnny Mohawk and the Assassins. Guitar Master is only a part of what makes Bob…Bob. There are many many other loves of his life beginning with his 3 daughters who are approaching teen-hood at breakneck speed. His pancakes are not just for breakfast, but another plane of culinary existence altogether. Did we mention he loves guitars? Bob is proud of his guitars. They are the Paul, the Strat, the 135, and the injured SBG. He has an odd but, strangely seductive sense of humor. Toss all that stuff in with an awkward fashion sense, a propensity to wear too much cologne, his unique approach to time management…and you have a pretty good idea of what he’s about.
